Jim Woods

Jim earned multiple letters in Football, Basketball and Baseball by the time he graduated in 1971. But he would have an impact on Malvern athletics well beyond his playing days.

Jim took over ownership of the family business, Woods' Grocery, in 1980 and quickly became a major contributor to Malvern Athletics. He did not hesitate to support all fundraisers, through donations of money, grocery items, and use of his parking lot for car washes. When the school needed to raise money, Jim was the first one on the list to contact. His efforts are a big reason why Malvern Athletics have been so successful the past 40 years
